Finding old pictures on my computer to look back on my journey is very therapeutic to me. I know I don’t live in the past, but it’s calming to remember where I’ve come from. I appreciate the perspective allotted by dealing with an eating disorder, and the intuitive appreciation I now have for a body that is well fed, well lifted, and well loved. I cannot reiterate how much self-love comes into play throughout my journey, and how it serves to gratify me each day. I knew that I couldn’t hate my way through the process of loving myself. As I fell in love with my body, for its shape, function, and resilience, I found calm in the journey. Caring for my body is an honour, one that I don’t ever want to take for granted. I thank anorexia for this perspective.?#FightForGrowth
