When we practice together I put @timfeldmannyoga to work. Turn the sound on to see how sweet Tim really is ? Sometimes we help in difficult poses like this. Tim is one of only a few people I feel comfortable with to guide me this deep in backbends. It's not just because I'm married to him (well that too), it's because he is one of the most sensitive, strong and compassionate teachers (not to mention as a person too). As teachers we have to listen with our hands, not just pull and yank. We have to respect the student and meet them where they are. But more than anything we have to communicate love and support through hands-on assists. ?
