I have boundary issues. I get lost in people, things, ideas and I sometimes let people, things, ideas take me over. It's both good and bad. This unbridled unfettered sense of jumping in to anything and anyone that crosses my path that seems mildly interesting has made me fearless at best and foolish at worst. I trust so much and so fully that I feel like nothing will ever go wrong. I don't see any possible negative consequence. I only see the goodness and the positive potential. That's me. And I've come to accept that I'm like that. I do need to be aware of it so that I can act with awareness, wisdom and discrimination. Because sometimes things do go wrong and when they do I usually get blindsided, heartbroken and disillusioned. But no matter how many times it happens I pick myself back up, shake off the dust from my feet, tend to the bruises on my heart. And here I am. Stubbornly hopeful. Doggedly optimistic. Seeing the best in everyone around me. Filled with energy and enthusiasm, smiling with a big open heart, ready to love all over again. And I wouldn't have it any other way. ?
