Day 7 #mayibeginyoga2015 is Padmasana, Lotus Pose. This is a foundational asana in the Ashtanga Yoga method and requires good external hip rotation. When entering the pose keep the knee joint closed and avoid and torque or twist in the knee. Do not force, not even a little of your knee hurts. Just take a step back and do half lotus or even simple crossed posture as a modification. Wait for the hips to open. Check my YouTube channel for full tutorials.
