A: Instagram takes what Twitter does well—displays everything from everyone you follow, without curation determined by algorithms—and adds a clearly defined visual element for you to work within. Because the parameters are so foolproof, you’re really able to let the visuals of your work catch the fans’ attention. We all follow people who take selfies, food photos, pet photos, things like that, but when you see a photo of a car taking a 70-foot jump or kicking up dirt between all that other stuff, you give it a second look! ________________________________________Q: What motivated your choice to join Iconosquare? A: We needed an easy way to curate data on our posts—how many likes they’re getting, who they’re getting them from, and so forth. The biggest investment I have to make to get the data I need in Iconosquare is my time, and the fantastic interface and fun of reliving some of our finest moments makes that investment more than worth it! ________________________________________Q: When posting a media, what is your Like/Comment threshold that makes it acceptable? A: We like to hit four digits with every post on likes, and we’re usually able to do that. We had one fan poll in December that turned into an absolute like war between two drivers with very passionate fanbases. Combined, the likes on the two photos topped 20,000.
