日本の国立公園さんのインスタグラム写真 - (日本の国立公園Instagram)「Jozankei Shrine lights up with snow candles in January ❄️🕯 Each winter, the hotels and traditional Japanese inns of Jozankei Onsen in Hokkaido’s Shikotsu-Toya National Park make a multitude of snow candles by hand and display them at the Jozankei Shrine for an event called Yukitouro, a winter tradition that started in 2011 and has attracted many repeat visitors ever since. 😍💯 This year, the candles will all be lit up at once at the Jozankei Shrine between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm from January 27-February 3, 2024. Beyond the snow candle area, visitors can find the mysterious Prayer Forest, where light and images naturally merge. Look out for snow bunnies and other whimsical creatures climbing the poles laced with white lights.
