Honestly, everyone in my family loves Cinnabon except for me! I think their rolls are overly sweet, and the ones in my country are way too gooey. That’s why I decided to try making my own cinnamon rolls. So I went into trial mode and experimented with a few different approaches before finally discovering the PERFECT recipe! #leesamantha #cinnamonrolls

For the Dough:
244g Warm milk (38-43°C)
2.5 tsp Instant dry yeast
2 Large eggs
75g Salted butter, softened
85g Granulated sugar
1 tsp Salt
563g All-purpose flour

For the Filling:
114g Salted butter, softened
160g Brown sugar
2 Tbsp Cinnamon
120g Heavy cream, warm slightly (for pouring over the risen rolls)

For the Frosting
170g Cream cheese, softened
75g Salted butter, softened
50g Powdered sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

1. Warm milk in a bowl, sprinkle yeast. Add eggs, butter, sugar. Mix.
2. Add flour (save 1/2 cup, use when needed). Mix to dough with spoon.
3. Knead sticky dough on floured counter for 8 minutes.
4. Put dough in greased bowl. Cover, let double in warmth spot for 1 hour.
5. Roll risen dough on floured counter to 24X14 inch rectangle.
6. Spread butter, brown sugar, cinnamon on rectangle.
7. Roll dough tightly from longer side.
8. Trim, cut into 12 pieces. Place in greased 9X13 inch pan.
9. Cover, let rolls rise 30 more mins.
10. Pour heavy cream over risen rolls.
11. Bake at 190°C for 20-22 mins, until golden and feel firm to touch.
12. Cool rolls 30 mins. Prep cream cheese frosting.
13. Mix cream cheese, butter, sugar, vanilla.
14. Spread frosting on rolls.
15. Enjoy!
