Putting my spin on Halloween maggot gnocchi, inspired by the creativity of @tastemade ! 👻 #leesamantha #TastemadeInspired #halloween

Recipe:
500g potatoes (about 3 potatoes)
120g 00 flour
1 egg
1 tsp salt, plus more to boil gnocchi
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp powdered charcoal

Boil the potatoes in a large pot until tender. Take them out of the pot, allow to cool slightly, and peel off the skin. Next, pass them through a potato ricer.
Combine potatoes, egg, flour, salt, and pepper using a scraper or your hands to form a soft dough. Dust the dough with flour while gently folding it—avoid over-kneading or compacting the dough; maintain a light and fluffy consistency.
Shape the dough into a log and divide it into equal pieces. Roll each piece into thin strips, then cut those strips into 1-inch pieces. Roll the gnocchi over a floured fork or a gnocchi paddle.
Take 1 tbsp of dough and mix it with powdered charcoal to create a black dough. Shape the black dough into small, tiny balls, each about 2mm in size.
Position the black dough at the tip of the white gnocchi. To achieve the shape of the maggots. Let the gnocchi rest for 20 minutes before cooking.
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the gnocchi. They are ready when they float to the top. Drain and add them into the cooked sauce. Enjoy!
