He looks like he's in Saved by the Bell. Proper little 90s dude! 😎✨ I've got to say, I am absolutely loving motherhood again after struggling for so many months. I made a decision in January that I needed to work on ways to work / parent to suit us. And then I made a decision after my panic attack to look after myself more... And I'm starting to feel happy again. I feel like I'm coming out of the *other side* of matracence. I've stepped into my identity not just as a mum but also as Ashley. There are still challenges, but that is the beauty of life, right? but Alf is just the most joyous guy and it's such a joy to be a part of the journey - you get SO much more back from them now. 🥰 I just want to share for anyone in the clouds full of worry and regret, or wondering why everyone else seems to be loving this motherhood thing - it gets better. There's so much joy. 🌈 I mean I'd still love to get some sleep at night - but I know those days will come. And I'm so grateful to be here, and to be Alf's mum. To have this little family of ours. With everything going on in the world it's made me hug him a little bit tighter. If I can offer any advice it would be this: Trust your gut, but don't be afraid to ask for support. Have the courage to do things your way, and don't care about what others say. And know that some parts of motherhood can be sh*t and relentless and monotonous and no one really can prepare you for that but it doesn't make you a bad person or a bad mum. But the journey from pregnancy and into motherhood is one of the wildest rides - and such a unique one. Your timelines will look different to others, but support new mums! They are going through more change than you can imagine. Very grateful to you guys for being such an amazing community of support, and to all guests who've come on Mum's the Word for being honest about the good and bad - it's made me feel less alone in the darkest thoughts and given me so much hope and perspective. Thank you! ❤️」3月24日 5時10分 - ashleylouisejames

Sorry but can you cope with Alf in these photos 😍

I've got to say, I am absolutely loving motherhood again after struggling for so many months.

I mean I'd still love to get some sleep at night - but I know those days will come.

And I'm so grateful to be here, and to be Alf's mum. To have this little family of ours. With everything going on in the world it's made me hug him a little bit tighter.
