I guess that's postpartum hairloss - I was kinda hoping I'd gotten away with it! It's just hair, but I've worked so hard on it growing since it all snapped off a couple of years ago. Hair is a big part of my self esteem. Has anyone got any advice or do we just roll with it? Here's what else happened today: I bought Alf some dummies. It feels a bit weird seeing him with them in his mouth, but he seems to like them. I bought some Mam ones based on @lucymeck1 recommendation. I like how Americans call them soothers - that's what I want to call them. The sun came out and I got to wear a dress. Hallelujah! Summer is that you gun? My mood always lifts in the sunshine. I spent the afternoon with a friend and her daughter at Battersea Park zoo. What an amazing place to go with the babies! We saw donkies, wallabies but most importantly we got to ride in a fire engine (my dad was a firefighter!) and play in the sand and the swings. Really recommend it for anyone who lives in the area! Tommy and I found out we got our new home today. We're moving out of my little flat and out of London... into our first family home. 🥂 It will feel emotional saying goodbye to my little flat. It will always be my biggest achievement buying that as a single girl in my 30s. I spent my 20s in my overdraft with zero savings, and it was a space I had many an epic dinner party with all my friends. It marked a time when I stopped chasing romantic relationships and starting nurturing the love that was already in my life in the form of female friendships. I always said I'd never live with a romantic partner, but Tommy moved in unofficially at the beginning of the first lockdown... We didn't know how long it would be until we could see each other again, or if we'd even survive lockdown! And we'll, he never left! We watched the Friends Reunion and I feel all nostalgic and emotional about how quickly life goes. 😢 We really do have to live every moment because life moves so quickly. I feel emotional!
