One thing I learned tonight, we may not need a full bajillion iso with this camera. Why? For those who are not photographers, apologies for the following photo-mumbo-jumbo…apparently, this camera can continuously adjust the censor for a painfully-long 4-5 stops, removing any possible blurring or motion of the image. I have no clue how it does this, nor want to know. I'm just thankful to the geniuses who merge science and math, allowing us the freedom to create. Tonight, often, the moon was covered in thin clouds. It was simple to handhold at 1/4 of a second, even with a 50mm 1.2 lens. Without boring, everyone, including me, with the various settings, these three straightforward images, photographed around the Housatonic River in Stockbridge only a few hours ago, was in the 16000-54000 iso range, handheld, under exceptionally complex light. They were processed using DxO Deep Prime doing minimal toning.
