ジョン・スタンメイヤーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ジョン・スタンメイヤーInstagram)「We might be reaching the mystical bajillion ISO. Ok, not a bajillion. Still mighty high…102,400 iso, 1/40 of a second, handheld, with a 35mm 1.4, at 1.4, on the new Canon R5. Just now, this evening in total darkness, @elfriede.the.great.dane enjoying the snow in our favorite spot…under the magnolia tree in the garden. Disclaimer—I am not being paid by Canon to test this camera. I reached out to Canon US and to Sony US for loaner cameras to understand if we are reaching the point of seeing in total darkness with the latest mirrorless cameras. Two weeks ago, when I tested the Sony at a bajillion iso, the software company, DxO, contacted me here on Instagram. They told me about a new de-noising software they wanted me to try, Deep Prime. Yes, DxO sent me the codes to use. You know I am not the Technical John. This late evening I downloaded DxO Photo Lab (which has this Deep Prime thingie in it that is supposed to remove all noise, retain total sharpness). I did nothing other than gently slide the de-noising slider slightly to the right...OMG, it works. Here too, I am not being paid by DxO. There is more that could be done to this photograph of Elfriede to make the colors more pleasant. For now, it is late. I’m excited. Wanting to share this beauty in the hope that one day - and we’re really close to it with this camera - we will be able to see and create images in total darkness. Handheld. Good night. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @elfriede.the.great.dane #intheberkshires #greatbarrington #massachusetts #snow #darkness #bajillioniso」2月23日 14時44分 - johnstanmeyer
