Walking along the river eating an ice cream with my children, going for lunch at a quirky vegan restaurant, reading a book in a cafe where people take their adorable dogs and booking a holiday to paradise to explore, adventure and unwind. I think most of us are now feeling lacklustre towards the same four walls that entrap us indoors, away from sunlight within our homes. I’ve really enjoyed redecorating my entire house in lockdown, it’s something I wouldn’t usually have had time to do - but now I’m ready for more. I’m dreaming of sunshine and the great horizon, wide open skies and balmy long evenings. I’m excited at the aspect of what is to come, at the same time thankful for the peace and stability that surrounds me. What a journey we have all been on, one year into this pandemic, the lessons we have learned and relationships that we have built and lost - everything has happened for a reason.
