Additionally though, it felt too warm for me and that route - I like conditions to be quite cold for that one - like low 40s instead of mid 60s. I felt like it would have been somewhat detrimental for me mentally had I been stubborn and continued to pursue thana. Yes I would love to put that project to rest - but it just wasn’t the right time. Instead I determined it would be more beneficial to work on my confidence. Admittedly my confidence has been on a crazy rollercoaster ride since returning to sport from shoulder surgery. I’m not scared of my shoulder, but am instead doubtful that I still have what I used to have simply due to the fact that I haven’t been on a mission to send a whole lot that Is challenging for me. Weird maybe but I’ll dive into this another time for ya So instead I set out to some some 5.13+s and feel my body find flow and dig deep. And that’s what I did, and it was the right call for me and this trip I am proud of myself for accepting this and moving through it.
