Rakusuien is a Japanese garden that can be reached on foot from Hakata Station in about 10 minutes. There is a tea room in the park where you can enjoy seasonal desserts and matcha tea while appreciating the seasonal flowers, such as weeping cherry trees in spring and maple trees in autumn. In October, the garden is open only once a year at night, and on this night you can admire the garden being illuminated by lanterns.
