Yanagawa City in Fukuoka is well-known as a castle town in the 16th century. With hundreds of thousands of remaining water-filled moats and waterways flowing through the city, it is even nicknamed as "the Japanese version of Venice".
Enjoy a 50-minute train ride from Fukuoka downtown to this nostalgic streetscape.
