We often forget that little things can have a big impact on our workout. If you find yourself struggling with your sessions and feeling tired or sore, you may not be making the best choices before and after your workouts.
⠀⠀⠀
Here are 5 of my top tips to help you feel energised and strong and ensure you are getting the MOST out of your training. 💯
⠀⠀⠀
✅"Pre-Workout" - A pre-workout does not necessarily mean a supplement. It can be something as simple as a banana and a shot of coffee to ensure you have enough energy to perform at your best. Do NOT forget your water.
⠀⠀⠀
✅Have your workout space set up - Set aside time before your workout to get everything you need.
⠀⠀⠀
✅Warm-Up and Cool Down - Remember to warm up and cool down for EVERY session. This can help prevent muscle soreness and injury.
⠀⠀⠀
✅Get more sleep - I know this is easier said than done. 😅 Going to bed an hour earlier (or even half an hour) every night will give your body extra time to recover and will help you wake up with more energy for your next workout.
⠀⠀⠀
✅ Workout buddy - do you feel like you need to be held accountable for your workouts ? That's totally NORMAL. Find yourself someone who will hold you accountable to actually complete and get through those workouts. Sometimes when you feel "tired" it can just be a lack of motivation and having that ONE PERSON can really help.
