Recalling when we were children, perhaps primordial, how incredible everything around us was, is. Amazingness appears when time no longer exists, feeling changes occurring in nature, in our lives, even within a room. We were here on Friday (Day 68) when this bed, I sometimes sleep, felt like death. Five days later, a cloud of someone familiar lays awaking in comfort of a long dream. Well before I lived in this home, the ceiling above the bed had been pealing in pain (Day 13), its light ripped wide open. Today surgeons are grafting new skin. She ate strawberries in bed. I’m not concerned about the berry blood stains... COVID meant a washing machine arrived months before the laundry room was repaired (Day 27). The mirror was in the body bag, wrapped within is me. Sometimes it feels like I’m dying. We all are—a beautiful reminder you, me, have so much to do.
