Our second workout of the New Year Who Dis Challenge will be going live tomorrow and it’s a booty workout so it’s time to prepare. Firstly, get yo’self a cute outfit, mine is by @vqfit @vqfitwomen 💪 I wanted to share this Glute Activation routine with you now so that you’re ready to go tomorrow! Do this routine before tomorrow’s workout to really get those Glutes ready to fire and growww 🍑🔥

Glute activation is the process of preparing your glutes to perform and fire during exercise. Without proper glute activation, you may find that your surrounding muscles are utilised during glute targeted exercises to support your movement and compensate for the lack of glute engagement. Glute activation is usually achieved through a series of effective warm up exercises so here are a few of my favs that you can incorporate into your routine!

- 10 reps/10 pulse combo Seated Abduction
- 10 x Lateral Steps (each way)
- 20 x Glute Bridges
- 15 x Fire Hydrants (each leg)
- 12 x Squats
