It feels like I haven’t been home in a while but I was there not too long ago. Kauai feels like home for me even though I wasn’t born there. It’s the vibe of the island, the ocean and the way of living. It’s peaceful and stress free not over populated and much of the island is untouched. I lived there for a while then moved, it was a mistake to move but I didn’t see that then. I’ll move back within the next 5 years I’m sure of it. My brother and sister (SIL) live there still, I think they’ve been there for over 5 years. I go back often to see them and spend time. I never know how long I’m going to be gone. I buy one way tickets and then I just let my spirit tell me when to go back to the mainland. Lucky for me my brother and sister keep a room ready 😊 _ Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to escape, refocus and come back stronger. It’s not selfish to take care of you. They say you should never pour from an empty cup. You can only pour out when your cup is full. Pour from that which over runs. We pour into our family, our friends, our kids and work. Where are you drawing from? I’m in a transition but I’m afraid to commit to the change.
