Had the pleasure of hosting Dr Henry Kissinger to lunch at the Istana today! Dr Kissinger is here to speak at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum, on the opening of China in the last and next 50 years.
Dr Kissinger was an old and close friend of my father’s. At 95, he is astute and sharp as ever, still filled with zest for life and a deep interest in international developments. He has travelled a long way and I am glad that he took the time to meet with me today.
