40 years in the public service is long enough to see you get married, have children, and possibly grandchildren too. That is how long some who received National Day Awards and Civil Service Long Service Awards today have spent in the public service – essentially their whole careers! I was proud to present 81 officers from the Prime Minister’s Office with the awards this morning. Happy to recognise the efforts of all these hard-working civil servants who have contributed each in their own different ways!
Familiar names in this year’s recipients include Head of the Civil Service, Leo Yip; @psdsingapore Permanent Secretary Yong Ying-I, MAS Managing Director Ravi Menon, and former CPIB Director Wong Hong Kuan.
