Congratulations to @sghseen‘s Department of Urology on their 30th Anniversary!

The department was established in 1988. It was Singapore’s first urology department. It has become a one-stop centre for all urological needs, using advanced techniques including robotic surgery. Found out the nickname of the department’s robot last night – it is named after a *very* famous painting. #guesswhat

The department also honoured Professor Foo Keong Tatt who established the department and is a pioneer in urological procedures. He trained many urologists, not only in Singapore but in other countries such as Bangladesh and Nepal as well. The Foo Keong Tatt Professorship will enable the department to recruit and retain the best researchers and teachers.
