We lost our beloved Max over five years ago unexpectedly the night before he was to undergo surgery to help a neurological issue. The loss shook me to the bone and drained the life from my body. I would have moved heaven and earth to save him if I could have. The love that I felt for him was as profound as I've ever known. I know many people out there have felt that sort of love before, the sort of love that encompasses your world. I miss him each day and tears are wetting the phone as I write this.
I don't know @briannamadia well, having only met once when we were both part of the @REI Outessa Women's event. But I do know that many of us know the pain she is going through. It's something you wouldn't wish on anyone. One of her dogs was hit by a car and is in critical condition, fighting for his life. Money should never ever be a thought when trying to save a family member. I just donated to Dagwood's vet bills and am hoping anyone who has loved deeply will consider donating too (link in her profile).
