Our relationship with the United States is one of Singapore’s most vital. We have deep ties, and substantial cooperation on economic, security and defence matters. This has held true with every administration thus far.
So I make it a point to meet key US officials – not just to maintain our relationship, but to push it forward. Yesterday, @singaporeair signed a deal with @boeing to purchase 39 new aeroplanes.
