Took a #jalanjalan around Lorong Halus and Punggol Promenade Riverside Walk last month.
Bordering the Serangoon River, Lorong Halus Wetland used to be a refuse landfill. In 2010, the landfill was turned into a water treatment nature park. Now, it is home to a diverse range of wildlife, and a recreational spot for nature lovers.
After crossing Lorong Halus Bridge, I continued along Punggol Promenade Riverside Walk. There’s something for everyone here – exercise equipment for fitness buffs, nature spots (spotted an otter family!), and trendy cafes.
