Am home from my short visit to Brunei.

SAF soldiers have been training in the Temburong jungles for the last 40 years. As a result of our close friendship with Brunei, our soldiers get to train in realistic and tough conditions that cannot be duplicated in Singapore.

Visited servicemen from 6 SIR yesterday morning in Temburong. Happy to see them in good spirits, despite the tough jungle and survival training (the soldiers tell me the food is good!). Their trainers and commanders put great emphasis on preparation and safety, to ensure that our soldiers get the best out of the experience. – LHL (MCI Photos by Chwee)
