a lovely start to a perfectly misty grey evening on the left coast. joining @labreabakery and a gorgeous group of ladies for a cocktail hour @evakosmasflores @the_bojon_gourmet @themodernproper @sasha.swerdloff @vegetarianventures @goeatyourbeets .

we made the most of a break in the rain and laid a little table in front of the window - filling it with delicious things like @vegetarianventures fall bruschetta, dark purple roasted grapes and goats cheese on buttery french bread toasts and my smoky aubergine spread slathered on warm slices of @labreabakery artisan cranberry and walnut loaf & cheeses of course.... all the cheeses .

a wood stove burned luminous in the corner and a few bottles or red were opened as we gazed out at the tips of tall pines and glimpses of the intertwined coastline - where sea met shore and shore became sea
