@abtofficial’s annual run of “Swan Lake” is back at @MetOpera House this week. “Monday’s opening performance brought much to admire,” writes @ニューヨーク・タイムズ dance critic @alastair.macaulay. Our photographer @andrea_mohin was there last night, too; she took this photo of the dancers @isabellaboylston and @albanlendorf. @isabellaboylston’s musicality and phrasing are “exquisite,” @alastair.macaulay writes. “As she extends a leg to the side (grand développé), the way she decelerates the final moments is marvelous. The sparkle of her footwork, traveling across the floor, and the glistening flourishes of her raised feet (triple ronds de jambe en l’air) are thrilling.
