I want to see miracles unfold around me. I want to experience the power of a presence that far exceeds my own abilities. I want to turn over all control. I want to live in faith and surrender. And love. I want to live in love. Immersed in the sacred, drinking from the holy, I want to set my sights on the deepest experience of life and let everything else flow from there.

Standing in the middle of life's struggles it can be hard to believe in the miraculous. But in every situation there is light and shadow. In every person there is good and bad. The glass is half empty, the glass is half full. Sometimes in service of honesty we forget to celebrate our victories, forget that the best way to be around great people is to speak to their greatness, and forget that we can choose what we bring our attention to in any given experience. Focusing on the negative is such an easy temptation. Thinking the worst of others, or yourself, is a kind of addiction to misery. The courageous choice to see what good exists in every moment isn't easy, but it is the deepest yoga there is. Criticism can be constructive when it comes from love. But mean-spirited negativity that only seek to harm and inflict wounds for their own sake are emotional bombs that can leave your world suffering from fall-out for years to come. Life can be heaven in your midst or it can be hell surrounding you. The choice is yours. No one can make that choice for you. No matter how badly you're treated, no matter what the circumstances are in the world at large, no matter what actions you've taken or not, the choice is always in your heart. There is a path out of your pain. There is hope that calls you to, speaking in a language of love and healing. But you need to take the first step. You need to believe, you need to open your mind to see the goodness, and grow your heart big enough let all the grace pour in. Set your sights on heaven, yearn for it, desire to be consumed by a mighty river of blessing. Get down on your knees, lay your heart down at the highest altar and get ready for a wild ride of rapture.
