Our friends at Cantina Frentana also took us to a great restaurant, Osteria da Peppone in Castel Frentano. The entire menu is based on baccala, salt cod. Some of the amazing dishes that we enjoyed were: baccala crudo, bell peppers stuffed with braised baccala, breaded Baccala fritters. Pictured here is spaghetti with cod cheek, garlic, cruschi (dried sweet peppers).
