Day 28 #yogagivesbackchallenge is Vrschikasana, Scorpion Handstand. Can we do 20,000 posts in two days?? That's what we need to make it past the second fundraising milestone for the challenge to bring the total money raised to $2,500. Let's make it happen for @yogagivesback Finding balance in this handstand is a combination of strength and flexibility. Especially if you have a natural backbend take the time to create space around each of the joints of the spine and avoid hinging into the lower back. Keep the arms solid and reach the head up towards the feet. Extend through the legs and avoid bending the knees too hard when reaching them towards the head or you might get a cramp in the hamstring. Beginners in the challenge use a wall or get someone to spot you or try it from headstand or forearm balance. Check my YouTube channel for full tutorials. Check @beachyogagirl for another option.
