We’re thrilled to offer a first look at the 11 artworks donated by leading contemporary artists to the Nina Simone Childhood Home Online Auction, organized as part of a multifaceted benefit by @pacegallery and the National Trust’s African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund. Conducted by @サザビーズ, the online auction begins Friday, May 12.

Co-curated by @pendleton.adam and the tennis champion, entrepreneur, and arts patron @ビーナス・ウィリアムズ, the online auction in support of the @savingplaces Nina Simone Childhood Home preservation project will be leading up to and following an in-person gala at our 540 West 25th Street gallery in New York on May 20. Artists who have donated artworks in honor of Simone’s memory are #CecilyBrown, #EllenGallagher, @rashidjohnson, @robert_longo_studio, @juliemehretu, Pendleton, #MartinPuryear, @sarahszestudio, @maryweatherford, @stanley.whitney, and @anickayi_studio.
