For Garcia, one of the most significant pieces of furniture at Champ de Bataille is an 18th century console table by Adam Weisweiler, pictured here. “It could possibly be one of the last pieces royally commissioned by Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, and it surely had not yet been delivered as the king and queen had already been arrested,” says Garcia. On 16 May, 75 prestigious works of art – handpicked by the interior designer from the project of a lifetime – will be offered at #SothebysParis.
