During the summer months, the area is a carpet of brilliant green. Here are some of the most iconic places you'll find in the grasslands. 👀📸 ▶ Komezuka A gently sloping volcano about 80 meters high and conical in shape. A relatively new mountain said to have been formed by an eruption about 3,300 years ago. ▶ Daikanbo (Photo by IG @haru_11043811 ) An observatory from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of Aso as well as the five peaks of Aso. ▶ Kusasenri A large meadow at the northern foot of Mt.
