It may be chilly in Tokyo, but down in Okinawa, things are beginning to heat up. Okinawa is home to three national parks, each with its own unique features more than worthy of a thorough exploration. One of the parks—Yambaru National Park—is located in the north of the main island of Okinawa. Covered in lush forest brimming with wildlife, the park is a joy to visit. 🌳

At the very northern tip of Yambaru National Park—and of the main island of Okinawa itself—you'll find Cape Hedo and a rugged coast where steep cliffs tumble into the sea. The lookout at the edge of the cape provides exceptional views of the coast and the brilliant blue sea that stretches out into the distance. 🌊
