Can you guess why Alexandria was a big bucketlist check for me?
There’s a lot of reasons why I wanted to go to this historically epic city in Egypt, but let’s see how well you know me 😜
Was it because:
A) It’s an adorable Mediterranean Sea-side city with a mix of European flair
B) It’s where Cleopatra had her palace, and you can even scuba dive down to see some of its remains (it sunk into the sea after an earthquake)
C) It’s where one of last intact Ancient 7 World Wonders used to be (Lighthouse of Alexandria, it used to be where this pic was taken but also fell in the earthquake)
D) It’s where the end of the Nile River is, and I had gone to the beginning/source of the Nile a few weeks prior
E) It’s near the Suez Canal, and I wanted to see where all the Amazon products come from.
Which of these reasons would make you want to visit Alexandria?
