After quite possibly the most sedentary year of my life so far, like so many others, I’m super excited to get back to the gym, slip into a skimpy summer dress and party like it’s 1999! Attention in these warmer months shifts from bulking to cutting and most peoples goals right now - especially after the indulgence of Christmas, pancake day and valentines - is to shift that stubborn excess weight and tone up to get those limbs out for a good bronzing. I was shocked when my dad told me he was still struggling to lose his Christmas weight as we approach March and felt tired and lethargic everyday despite having a very active job. A quick glance over his eating habits and it was obvious that he wasn’t getting enough protein in his diet as the silly sausage had cut back on eating meat after months of overindulgence (I’m the only vegan in the family) without replacing it with a high quality plant based source to prevent deficiencies. Now he’s taking a natural @rawsportofficial plant based protein shake to work with him each day to sip on his break as a delicious snack before lunch and he’s bouncing around like a bunny again!
