He's now 3 weeks and 3 days old - time has gone so quickly since he came into the world. I'm probably the only person who felt like January went quickly. 😂 It felt good to take some time offline over the past month! But there's so much I want to share with you guys: from the last few weeks of pregnancy, to childbirth, to breastfeeding. I don't even know where to start! So I thought I'd just say this: so far the whole process has been a total joy. Better than I expected actually. I made no secret of the fact I wasn't maternal, so I kind of worried a bit that I wouldn't have a connection or something. Anyway, I needn't have worried at all. He's just amazing. 🤱🏼💗 Also, you hear so many negative stories, we really didn't know how much life was going to change when we brought him home. I mean, obviously life has already changed so much with lockdown, so it's not like we're living normal life anyway, so maybe the transition doesn't feel so vast? But here's some things I still do that I was told wouldn't happen: ✨I sleep better now than when I was pregnant. He sleeps so well, even though I'm sure there'll be bad night's ahead. Plus, waking up in the night is a total joy! It's so much nicer to be awake for a tiny human, than to be awake with anxiety stuck in an internet hole. ✨I still drink hot cups of tea and coffee. ✨I have a bath everyday. ✨I still love Snoop just as much - more if anything seeing how good he is with Alf. (I genuinely feared not loving him as much) I mean, every baby is different (and will change). But I hope my experience reassure any scared mums to be out there. Here's some things about Alf: ✨He loves BOOBY. ✨He loves to cuddle one of us while he sleeps. ✨He really loves looking at art, especially my @laurenbakerart. ✨He loves splish splashing in the bath - I knew he'd be a water baby. Living up to his middle name! 💙 ✨He's not the biggest fan of nappy changes. So! Who do you think he looks like? Although you can't see his baby blues here...」2月2日 6時26分
