Ive had an asymptotic tear in that labrum for quite sometime. It never bothered me until recently.   I was simply walking on a train when I tripped and couldn’t correct myself. I stuck my left arm out to save my face, but it caused for damage to my labrum. Climbing after that felt really insecure and v painful at times. It got to the point that tucking a chair under the table made my arm feel like it were going to slip out of socket.   My surgery went well and was performed by the same doc who did my other shoulder. He’s the same doc who did @tombradys shoulder too.   Recovery from any injury takes a lot of mental power and fortitude. So far, I feel really good 😌 and I know it’s a long road to recovery.   For now I’m restricted from any active motion of my shoulder. I go to PT for them to passively move my arm for me.
