Because after talking about it on stories it made me feel like I wasn't alone. So if you relate, you're not alone. ❤️ I first discovered I was pregnant at only 2 weeks because my boobs were so painful. For my entire first trimester they felt so painful I could barely move, I had to invest in a sleep bra, and they felt swollen and uncomfortable. It's weird because as they became more swollen, the more unwanted attention they'd attract, both online and offline. It was weird to feel they were seen in any way attractive or sexy, because to me they became unbearable. Now in my second trimester, I have intense back pain, I can't keep up with their ever increasing size, they swell out of all my bras and I'm at a loss with what to do for bras. My bump is now visible, yet they still attract the same unwanted attention. I decided today, I'd go and educate myself and therefore be able to help any of you struggling too and off I went. I learnt so much and the lady was so helpful, but I left in my same tiny bra feeling overwhelmed before bursting into tears. Apparently the average woman grows 8/10 breast sizes during pregnancy. I've already gone up 5 sizes and it's just overwhelming to think they might still grow. Most of us big boob girls have struggled with how to dress our bodies our whole lives, finding it hard to strike a balance of looking and feeling "frumpy" or feeling sexier but attracting unwanted attention. We've been taught to cover up to avoid the attention, as if it's our bodies that our the problem. We're made to feel silly for complaining, because we should love the attention, and if we don't want it we should cover up. There's an inner misogynist in all of us, even women. How many of us judge a women for having her boobs out, even if she's in a vest top? If you relate to this, I understand. And thank you to everyone who supported me today. We've got this! 💪🏼 I've since ordered 3 bras online in my new size, and can't wait to share what I learnt about maternity bras. 👙🥰」8月22日 6時51分 - ashleylouisejames
