Photo by @Gerd Ludwig Blossoms fill the fields around Eisenbach Castle in Lauterbach, Germany. Growing up in the neighboring town of Alsfeld, I often visited the castle. From my child’s height point of view, it reminded me of this line from the brothers Grimm version of "Sleeping Beauty": “Then around that place, there grew a hedge of thorns thicker every year, until at last the whole castle was hidden from view.”
