When I questioned the timing of such an endeavor the parking attendant said the order was given from higher up to scour the city and ticket everyone. The whole principle of the thing was upsetting. In the midst of a massive public health emergency the city decides to give out parking tickets en masse. A pandemic is the time when you want the government to be working for you. Maybe there’s some logic to going on a parking ticket bonanza that I can’t see, I really don’t know.
