I never want to leave 💗

There’s so much going on, so much shifting so that it feels like I’m starting over. There are days when I wonder if my voice matters to anyone anymore. The person I was just a year ago isn’t the person I am today. When I feel irrelevant, like the page on “me” has been turned by so many people who were once my friends, students, colleagues, I think about every kind word someone has shared with me, every heartfelt card that I’ve received from students saying what a difference my teaching has made in their lives, every student who puts their heart and soul on the mat to practice with me, whether online or in person. And, then I remember why I’m here. I started sharing yoga because I wanted to take the message of yoga as a spiritual path to a million people. I’ve expanded that now to a billion. I believe the world would be a better place if everyone was practicing yoga, meditation or some spiritual discipline.

I’m on the way to Africa tonight, my first trip to the continent. After that I’ll be in Europe for seven weeks of teaching. Come practice. All levels welcome. I would love to share the sacred space of yoga with you.
