My mother and her friends and their mothers fought for this - and the pill, and the right to vote. Because before this their whole LIFE belonged to their husbands. Their whole life belonged to society. They didn’t have the right to have a bank account. This is probably why I find is so hard to watch The Handmaid’s Tale - because it is SO REAL. . Most of us where born in freedom, taking it for granted. Let’s NEVER forget how many women fought, how many women died before us to get us there. I am profoundly shocked any time any right is taken back - the Alabama abortion law hit me profoundly. .  I am ready to raise my voice and I support @plannedparenthood - And this time around, men should stand with us and raise their voices loud and clear - and I am sure they will, because these life altering accidents don’t happen on their own. .
