You feel boring. You feel like you’re trying to be taken seriously, which is self-absorbed and pretentious. . Gah - you feel sooooo bloody earnest. . I know people that use humor as their armor and their shield will know what I am talking about. . At some point in the last few years I found myself looking for my funny everywhere. It was just gone. All I could write was these eye watering honest deep wholesome essays. I liked them but in the back of my mind my joker was having a feast and not leaving me alone. Who do you think you are? Who do you think you are? Who do you think you are? . Kept looking. It’s gonna come back! I was telling myself, looking in every closet for it. And it did, sometimes. But it was not the same. We used to be so sexy together... And now we felt like old lovers knowing exactly which next move we were going to make. . So I decided to leave it alone for a second. .
