Photo by @ivankphoto | This photo was taken in 2004, long before the creation of Instagram and before I ever shot an assignment for National Geographic. I was traveling with Karla Gachet (@kchete77) in a remote part of the Ecuadorian Andes. We were young photojournalists out to document the indigenous fiestas. This is one of my favorite frames because it captured the energy and excitement that swept through Zumbahua during the celebration of Corpus Christi. @runa_photos
