Photo by @Tim Laman. A Rufous Hummingbird feeds at Ocotillo flowers in the Coachella Valley. I used various approaches to capture my series of hummingbird images on display @Tim Laman. One was to shoot video at high speed (120 frames per sec at 1/240sec shutter speed, at 4K) on my RED camera, and pull still frames from motion. While every frame of a fast moving hummer isn’t sharp, there are plenty where the eye is sharp, and there is a nice wing blur which gives that sense of motion. #ShotonRED @reddigitalcinema #hummingbird #birds, #wildlifephotography #sunnylands #coachellavalley #coachella #TL_WildlifePhotoTips
