Does the Blue-fronted Amazon Parrot (Amazona aestiva) look pretty green to you? Look closely and you’ll find some bright blue feathers, and yellow plumage, too (to birds, which see a much wider range of colors than mammals, this species is an even more spectacular sight). The green has its use: it keeps this South American species camouflaged in its arboreal rainforest habitat. Still, this parrot is unfortunately under threat from human activity, including from the pet trade, deforestation, and habitat loss.

Unfortunately the new president of Brazil has intention to change the current regulation that protect the forest and its inhabitants, including this beautiful specie.

Maybe, it will not survive the Amazon destruction. Please, rethink what you and your investors support for.
