Not just working out, but with the day to day activities we engage in. We become so busy that sleep is far and few in between. Our minds are always going a mile a minute with the next thing we need to get done, what we still need to accomplish. The work is never done. ?How do you know it’s time to recharge? First, you’re exhausted all the time. We aren’t talking just your regular tired feeling because you didn’t get much sleep. We are talking sluggish, mind fuzzy, barely able to focus exhausted. This is a sure sign that your body is running on fumes and needs a rest! Another sign is that you’re easily irritated. Now sometimes, we have bad days. I’m not talking about just a bad day where every little thing is getting under your skin. I’m talking about when you notice for a long period of time you are constantly irritated by things that would normally not bother you. And, there’s nothing that can really change your mood. Again, this is something that could mean you need a break. You’ve taken on a lot, you have a lot going on, it’s time to take a step back momentarily to regroup. Just going through the motions. When there is no drive for your activities, you aren’t focused or motivated about anything, and you are just doing what you know you need to do. Sometimes we can push our bodies to their limit. Not just working out, but with the day to day activities we engage in. We become so busy that sleep is far and few in between.
